Geneva, world capital of watchmaking

The Fondation pour Genève had the pleasure of organising a visit to the Watches and Wonders salon in the presence of its director Matthieu Humair, at a completely transformed Palexpo. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Watches and Wonders team and to Richemont for their warm welcome.

Representing 1% of Geneva’s companies and 9% of jobs, the watchmaking sector is intimately linked to the prosperity of our canton and gives it a worldwide reputation.

Watches and Wonders honours this manufacturing tradition by highlighting the work of 54 companies. It welcomes visitors from all over the world and raises Geneva’s international reputation.

From 13 to 15 April, the event is open to the public!
