The Kofi Annan Geneva Peace Address will be given by the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize laureate
As part of Geneva Peace Week, the second edition of the Kofi Annan Geneva Peace Address, a high-level peace lecture supported by the Fondation pour Genève, will be given on 3 November 2022 at 6pm at the Graduate Institute by Elena Zemkova, Co-founder and Executive Director of Memorial.
The human rights organization Memorial has been awarded the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize, along with human rights defender Ales Bialiatski from Belarus and the Ukrainian human rights organization Center for Civil Liberties.
The conference is organized by the Kofi Annan Foundation, the Graduate Institute, the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform with the support of the Canton of Geneva, the City of Geneva, the Fondation pour Genève and Right Livelihood. It is open to the public upon registration and will be broadcast live online on the Graduate Institute website.
